Tamar and Tavy Regatta

This will be held on Saturday 10th October. As our local neighbours, we always try to support them when we can. Their regatta consists of a 6 mile pursuit race called the Brunel Race. This race is from Weir Quay to the Tamar bridge  and back.If anyone wants to be part of a crew for this, please email me ASAP. They will also have some shorter distance races as well, for ladies, men and juniors, and possibly a barbarians race where everyone is mixed up.
Normally this is an opportunity for us to row the boats down. I am waiting for confirmation from T and T whether we can race plastic boats as well as the wooden ones. Then I can work out how many teams we can enter, if the demand is there.
Anyone who is not rowing in a competitive squad at the moment ,but is thinking about it, this would be an ideal opportunity to have a go! Email if you want to race in the Brunel Race.
